Wendy Weusten trained as a primary school teacher, however for the last 20 years she has been on staff at Avonhead Baptist Church. At the moment she oversees Family Ministry and Events. She is married to David, has three married children, and is a doting grandmother of three. In her spare time she enjoys time with friends, good coffee, and a good book.

Janice Stocks has been a part of the Avonhead Baptist Church family for over 20 years, and a trustee for the last five. In a former life she was a school teacher. She is married to Joe, has three children, and works with her husband in the family kitchen business. In her spare time she likes to paint, walk on the beach, and read a good book.

John Wilson

John Wilson

Trustee

John Wilson is also part of the Avonhead Baptist Church family. He has been a trustee for 10 years and involved with what is now called Impact for 15 years. That doesn’t sound long until he sees “kids” who were little year 7-10 year olds changing his car tyres at Tony’s, serving him at the Bank, and teaching his school-aged children.  Some have now been round the world, and others have children of their own. In his spare time he runs the Sunshine Solar business, has a gorgeous wife and four not so gorgeous boys who take after their dad.
